贝壳-W于10月5日斥资350万美元回购63.74万股

2026年10月，NASA公布针对过冷大水滴结冰问题的试验进展。飞机穿过某些云层时，温度低于冰点的液态水滴会在撞击表面后迅速冻结。较大的水滴还可能飞溅到传统防冰区域后方，因此需要更准确地了解它们的尺寸、分布以及与机体碰撞后的行为。

研究在格伦研究中心结冰风洞进行，团队改进人工云的生成和测量设备，测试能够实时识别较大水滴的新探头。该探头负责观测直径超过45微米的水滴，相关结果还将与图像后处理，以及测量更小水滴的另一套设备数据结合。常规结冰条件中的水滴多为数微米至百微米，而特殊云层中的大滴可达到约2000微米，尺度差异会改变撞击和结冰方式。此次工作主要为验证工程工具、改进试验条件积累数据，并不表示新防冰系统已经完成装机。研究人员仍在分析试验结果，随后将与航空领域共享，为更全面地模拟危险天气提供基础。
